Tenure Track Faculty

 

The Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, Department of Biostatistics, in conjunction with the Tulane Cancer Center and the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium, seeks an associate or full professor for a tenure-track position. The successful applicant will serve as the Co-Director of the Biostatistics / Bioinformatics Core and will play a key role in developing the Core for the Tulane Cancer Center and the Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium, a partnership between Louisiana State University and Tulane Health Sciences Centers being developed for eventual NCI designation as a Cancer Center. A strong background with an established Cancer Center is preferred. Opportunities for collaboration with researchers from both LSU and Tulane are available. An individual with a good grants track record and administrative, teaching, collaborative, and consulting experience is preferred. Applicant will be appointed in the Biostatistics Department (approximately 30% time commitment) and will participate in department responsibilities, including the opportunity to teach and mentor masters and doctoral students.
