LCRC President / CEO Steve Moye and Dr. Oliver Sartor
selected as Health Care Heroes

New Orleans City Business magazine has selected Steve Moye and Oliver Sartor, MD as two of the top 50 health care professionals in the New Orleans area for 2010.

Started in 2007, Health Care Heroes honors 50 health care professionals in the New Orleans area in six categories: animal care, first responder, nurse, physician, professional and volunteer. Honorees are selected based on industry and community involvement and achievement that have set the pace for the overall community.

Steve Moye has been the President / CEO of LCRC since 2003 and was instrumental in obtaining $102 million in funding for the construction of the consortium's 250,000 square foot Cancer Research Center being constructed on Tulane Avenue in New Orleans. Under Steve's leadership, revenues for the organization have grown from zero to $440 million.

Dr. Oliver Sartor is a medical oncologist working through both theUrology Department and the section of Hemotology / Oncology at Tulane University with a strong focus in prostate cancer from both a basic and clinical perspective. His current research interests include clinical trials in advanced prostate cancer with novel agents and novel combinations of agents.
