Description: These meetings (held in conjunction with the Tulane School of Medicine Hematology/Oncology section) are designed to bring together LCRC investigators, trainees, and clinical fellows with an interest in breast and ovarian cancer. The seminar format is a 1 hour informal meeting with presentations of ongoing or proposed research projects. Journal club presentations consist of the presentation of recent research articles pertinent to breast or ovarian cancer, with discussion among participants. The meetings provide trainees with additional insight into their projects, as well as a forum to hone prsesentation skills in a familiar environment. Principle investigators, trainees and fellows are encouraged to participate.
