Program Faculty Career Opportunities
Offering Cancer Research Career Opportunities Focused on:
- Collaboration
- Discovery
- Translation
The Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium is growing quickly and offers immediate opportunities for mid-career leaders and cancer researchers at every level.
The Louisiana Cancer Research Consortium has been developed with the goal of achieving NCI designation as a Comprehensive Cancer Center through the joint efforts of Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and Tulane University Health Sciences Center. Continuing funding from an increase in the state tax on cigarettes and significant financial commitment by both Universities provide generous resources to successful candidates seeking faculty positions at all levels. The Consortium also offers opportunities for post doc and graduate student researchers.
Planning is underway for a new state-of-the-art cancer research building.
The LCRC offers successful candidates a highly collaborative environment, the very latest in research instrumentation and infrastructure, and unprecedented opportunity for discovery and translation in each of the following research programs:
- Cancer Genetics
- Cancer Immunology
- Cell Signaling
- Population Sciences
- Bioinformatics
